Thanks for being here. Let’s build something beautiful together.

In Memory of Frasier

The dog who helped me find my voice

On December 1, 2024, what we thought was an upset stomach turned out to be liver failure. He crossed the rainbow bridge on December 23. Life hasn’t been the same since. He wasn’t just my guide dog—he was my best friend, my anchor, my confidence, and my connection to the world around me.

Frasier guided me through so many milestones. He helped me move away from home, graduate college, hike trails, start public speaking—and ultimately, to believe in myself. He gave me the courage to live independently and the love I never knew I needed.

To everyone who’s ever met Frasier—at school, through Leader Dog, Lions events, or simply out on the trail—thank you for loving him with me. Thank you for the memories, the smiles, and the shared stories. Thank you to those who supported his training and believed in the mission of Leader Dog.

He changed my life by giving me a life. And while the hole he left can never be filled, I know he walks with me still.

"He gave me love, courage, patience, joy, connection, peace."

My special boy—I love you forever.

With Gratitude to the Land and Its First Peoples. Much of my work, learning, and recreation takes place on the lands now known as Wisconsin- lands shaped by the forced removal of Indigenous nations. I honor and extend deep gratitude to the 12 Native Nations who continue to care for these lands and waters today.
